Greater Waterbury Children’s Theatre’s purpose is to foster social emotional learning, confidence, communication skills, and teamwork through performative arts experiences for youth in Pre-K through 8th grade in the Greater Waterbury, CT area. We strive to do this by providing free & affordable enriching theater opportunities that cultivate creativity, nurture self-expression, and empower children to explore the world around them with curiosity and confidence. We value building a fun and welcoming environment for children of all abilities & skill levels driven by our passion to create positive childhood experiences. Our commitment to creating “family theater” is deeply tied to the rich history of children’s theater in Waterbury.
